Community Yard Sale

The Barkley Meadows neighborhood will be hosting a community-wide Spring Garage Sale on Saturday, May 16th. Signs will be placed at the entrances the week of the sale. 
Homeowners are encouraged to participate, and community members are invited to come out and shop a wide variety of items throughout the neighborhood. 
We look forward to a great day with our community! 
SNOW REMOVAL
In Georgetown, Kentucky, residents are responsible for clearing snow from sidewalks in front of their property within 24 hours of a snowfall. During a snow emergency, the deadline is extended to 72 hours.  
Responsibilities
Property owners: Responsible for clearing snow from sidewalks in front of their property, including alleyways  
Rental property owners: Responsible for snow removal if the lease agreement doesn't specify otherwise  
Property managers: Responsible for snow removal if the lease agreement doesn't specify otherwise  
Public Works Department: Can remove snow if a property owner doesn't clear it in time  
Code Enforcement Department: Can remove snow if a property owner doesn't clear it in time  
Penalties  
Property owners who don't clear snow in time may be fined 
Each day a property owner fails to clear snow is a separate offense 
Snow windrows  
Property owners are responsible for clearing snow windrows at the entrance to their driveway or private street 
It's illegal to move snow from windrows onto a sidewalk or city street
